Corona Virus

Update 23rd March 2020.

Further to our announcement last week we have taken the decision to close our showrooms until further notice, we continue to monitor and adapt in line with an ever changing situation and Government and Public Health England's guidelines and recommendations.

Our focus remains on the well-being of our employees and our customers, and supporting the wider community in order to help with the national effort to slow the spread of the virus.

We are still taking orders and making deliveries, however these will be subject to some changes and delays from our normal service.

We will be working behind closed doors or remotely from home. All voice messages will be passed on so please don’t hesitate to call and leave messages. Please state who your contact is, Steven Groves or Tony Bush if you have been dealing with us.

Deliveries and collections.

The driver will contact the customer 30 minutes before delivery to advise of their arrival time and to ensure there is a sufficient area for the delivery to be left. The driver will take a photo of the delivery and leave the paperwork on the pallet. The driver will wait for the customer to check all is present and then get the thumbs up and they will leave. No signature will be required but we will not entertain any claims made for shortages unless the customer advises us immediately.

Collections will be by arrangement only giving us time to prepare the collection and be at our showrooms for dispatch. This is all in an effort to protect staff and customers alike. We want everyone to stay safe and will endeavour to provide the services above while it is still possible to do so. We will keep you updated if there are any further changes to our service.

Remember our website is a great place to browse all of our floors and we will be able to post samples and give advice. We are currently looking into video audio in an effort to give a more face to face service.

Stock

We currently hold in excess of ten thousand m2 of floors in Winchester so will be able to supply while stocks last. Extra Stock is due in on lorries four weeks from now, (hopefully).

Underfloor Heating

We have lots of knowledge and can advise on which systems are good and those that are not. We can advise on installation methods to make your heating most efficient.

Steps and Stairs

We have stair sets for overlaying existing stairs in oak. We can provide overlay for steps up to 3 meters long. Our stair coverings give the appearance of traditionally crafted steps.

Fittings

We supply quality Oak Architraves and Skirting in variable patterns, Specialist patterns made to order, Oak and softwood beading, Oak door thresholds and window boards.

Floor Finishes

We stock a large rang of Hard Wax oils, lacquers, colour oils, stains, wood fillers, maintenance products and application tools.

Accessories

Underlays, Adhesives, Liquid dpm’s, Floor screeds, Furniture pads and floor protection.

We can price and organise the fitting for you. If you have your own fitters we are happy to offer technical advice. If you want to fit yourself we can give you guidance. The choice is yours and we are here to help!
